Scientific activities

In 2005, CardioMet members benefited from guaranteed subsidies from the National Swiss Foundations (Fonds national Suisse de la recherche scientifique - FNS). These subsidies totalled 18'361'127 francs. Since they are attributed for approximately three-year periods, this amount corresponded to around 6 million francs per year.

CardioMet members have published 237 articles in scientific reviews, mostly in reviewed with an editorial politic.  Six publications appeared in high impact journals, i.e. «Circulation», «The Journal of Clinical Investigation», «Nature Medicine», «Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences», «Current Opinion in Cell Biology» and «IF > 10».
