Research
The Research Centre of CardioMet is made up of 3 units that are coordinated together. They provide scientific and technical support to centre members in research both clinical and fundamental.
These three units are :
The aim of the two platforms is to provide researchers with a series of specific techniques developed to evaluate the cardiovascular and energetic and carbohydrate metabolism of mice. These platforms are open to all CardioMet researchers but also to researchers in Switzerland who use the mouse as a pathological model for humans.
The platforms also aim to develop new investigation techniques with researchers from the Lausanne University of the Federal Polytechnic School of Lausanne.
The two platforms for phenotyping rodents can operate with the clinical investigation centre so as to facilitate the development of joint research projects, fundamental or clinical in the metabolic and cardiovascular areas.
